New Year Eve At Norma Jeans

So, this isn’t technically a “KISS Ladies” event, as the band we saw, 3rd Wave, is more of a general 80’s experience.. but still, it was New Years Eve and the weather was nasty, so we decided to stick close to home :)

Though we were rather baffled at the lack of gorgeous long haired men, we still managed to pull off a Happy New Year while listening to a lot of good tunes.  The showmanship of 3rd Wave is great too.. from starting out as a “normal” band, to the costume changes that started during their 2nd set.  Yep.. one of the lead singers (Glenn), became Ozzy Ozbourne and Brett Michaels - which also worked for him as Vince Neil.  Definitely a versatile band!

Of course, we did have some inside information about the band, courtesy of Mike Chichkan and Steve Stanley (aka Peter & Paul of Destroyer), who have played with 3rd Wave before.  We said hi to Glenn for our boyz, and were rewarded by the band sending a shout out to Mike and Steve just after midnight, wishing the guys a very Happy New Year, so that was cool :)))  Of course, I will refrain from retelling the story that Glenn had to share lmao!!
